This is Your Celtic Animal Zodiac Sign and What It Reveals About Your Personality

The Celts honored the rhythms of nature and observed different flavors of their environment depending on the season. Like our Native American parents, each month’s full moon had a special personality.

The Celts were undeniably linked to the animal world. There does not appear to be a separation between the Celtic gender and the animal type.

Go back to the times of the Celts and see: their breath combined with the respiratory forests. Their eyes sparkled with the sparkling feathers of their bird parents. Their hearts beat to the rhythm of the wild beasts of the wood. Indeed, in Celtic ideology no distinction is made between man and nature. As all the former know, there is no delimitation. There is only one.

In this energetic spirit of unity, we invite you to connect with your Celtic moon animal sign. Explore the possibilities your moon totems have for you. Also, explore all the animal figures of the Celtic year. This could broaden your awareness of the people around you, the animals we resonate with, and the glory of our universe.

Learn about the Celtic animal zodiac and its meanings:

Deer / red deer (December 24 – January 20):

The animal sign of the Celtic deer has high ideals and aspirations. If you want to start a new project, get a Stag sign to help you. They will not be dissuaded from their viewing. They are meticulous, patient, and their perseverance ensures their triumphs.

When others have long since given up, Stags makes his way across borders. They are proud and rightly – they stand royally.

They are naturally noble, as they come from royalty. That doesn’t mean deer feel empowered. Away from there. They believe in hard work and their integrity is their hallmark.

Cat (January 21 – February 17):

Witty and even faster in spirit, the Celtic year cat leaps into the realm of intellect. This Celtic animal sign has impeccable reasoning skills, but they also have the gift of seeing the underside of things, a “sixth mental sense” if you will.

They have an unorthodox outlook and must be called upon when new perspectives are needed in a project.

They also have a benevolent humanitarian quality that makes them lovable. Although sometimes they can appear from a distance because they like to be on the sidelines, always watching. However, they have the best of intentions at heart. Cats are also very creative and need an artistic outlet to express themselves.

Snake / Adder (February 18 – March 17):

The Celtic animal sign of the snake looks cool but is infinitely lively. They are curious and are always full of questions about the functioning of the world and the functioning of the people around them (even if they don’t ask it outright, you can bet they find the answers in their mind).

Snakes are natural communicators and can be extremely convincing. If they are passionate about a cause, they can bring the whole neighborhood together with their zeal and enthusiasm for their goal.

Snakes can also be spontaneous and unpredictable. And while they’re flexible enough, they like to do things the way they do (who doesn’t?) And will prove uncooperative if pushed into a corner.

Fox (March 18 – April 14):

The fox sign is incredibly crafty and knows how to work in a room with crafty and good humor. Filled with cunning, vigor and brilliant intelligence, the fox is an indomitable force.

This Celtic animal sign is the one to take with you for an exotic vacation, they will guide you on amazing adventures. They have a knack for storytelling and each experience feeds their stories.

They have a soft heart, although they don’t show this sweet side too often because they are too busy playing and making jokes. However, they don’t hesitate to show their loyalty; if you are a friend of the fox, you have a friend for life. Very energetic and courageous, the fox has an indomitable spirit.

Bull / croaking (April 15 – May 12):

Strong, affectionate, stable and confident are the watchwords of the Bulls of the Celtic year lunar. Cows / bulls are the ones you turn to when you need a shoulder to cry, honest opinions and solid advice (especially in relationships).

These Celtic animal signs have evil intuition and can spot a liar from a mile away. Because they are very intuitive, they can be misunderstood as being in a bad mood or too emotional.

They also come honestly out of stubbornness. They have exceptional taste and a touch of refined elegance in fashion and interior design. These signs are reliable when the day is long and they know how to keep a secret.

Seahorse (May 13 – June 9):

The Celtic animal sign of the seahorse is extremely flexible and ingenious. The seahorse is the person you want to manage your finances or manage your legal affairs because these people are infinitely intelligent (if there is a flaw, they have found or invented it).

They also have incredible memory retention. Sometimes they are difficult to follow because their mind is very fast.

They can also be modifiable, but they always return to a high level of charisma. These people are incredibly versatile and fit very well in any environment. Seahorses are also so adorable. Even better, they love to be adored and easily reciprocate their affection.

Wren (June 10 – July 7):

The Celtic animal sign of the wren is associated with freshness and openness to new perspectives and sunnier arrangements. They are natural caregivers who sign sweet melodies to encourage their friends and family.

They remain calm in the midst of stormy weather. You want to have these people with you if you find yourself in a crisis; they are ingenious and stay cool under pressure.

Writers are motivated (they know how to get what they want) and work best in solo situations. They also have a high sense of responsibility and moral integrity. They seek balance in their lives by being leaders at work in the community, but secretly prefer to travel abroad to live a Gypsy life (this is often against their best judgment).

Horse (8 July – 4 August):

Exuberant, outgoing and powerful, the Celtic animal sign of the horse will have you running for your money. Naturally competitive and rightfully so. The horse is very talented and confident enough to get around, especially in business.

They have a sixth sense in terms of strategy and navigation (these signs have a strange internal compass). They are sociable and openly charming (even seductive).

They make great appearances and know how to behave with style and authority. They do well in leadership positions, but are just as happy to be clan helpers (as long as they receive proper recognition for their talents and contributions). Potentially stubborn, they are also valiant in times of adversity.

Salmon / Fish (5th August – 1st September):

Salmon signs dive deep into their inland waters for inspiration, bright visions, and a dreamy perspective. They are naturally intuitive but it doesn’t matter much. These people have a unique view of the world that makes them the best artists, poets and visionaries in the community.

Sometimes they dive too deep for the rest of us, and some just can’t follow where they’re swimming. But that’s okay, the fish sign needs that kind of depth, isolation and introspection because when they come back for air, the world is struck by their brilliance and intuition.

Swan (2 September – 29 September):

Spiritually evolved and eloquent in its expression, the swan swims in a class of its own. They have high standards, infinitely discriminating tastes, and have a keen sense of beauty (even when others can’t see it).

Very refined and noble, the swan is sometimes mistaken as aloof. This, however, is not the case. The swan is a lover and can be quite fond of relationships. This “coldness” comes from understanding the swan’s composure.

They are natural aristocrats. They may be demanding in detail and have specific ideas on how to proceed. If you want someone who is insightful, organized and extremely tasteful, you get a swan’s perspective.

The butterfly (September 30 – October 27):

This Celtic animal sign lives up to the adage “social butterfly”. Fly from friends to friends at parties and always in touch with loved ones (they are the ones who are always on the phone).

There is nothing they can do about it. Butterflies are sweet souls that cannot be tied for a long time. They love to dream, express new ideas and talk about high-level plans with all their friends.

These are the people who light up every dark day with their joy and beautifully bright personality. They are naturally empathetic and would never intentionally harm anyone. Rather, they make friends and love to see others excited. Butterflies bring a sense of wonder and youth to our world. Keep these people around to remind you how beautiful life can be.

Wolf / Hound (October 28 – November 24):

Wolves have a strong sense of purpose and will go to great lengths to see that their point of view is rendered and fully understood. This Celtic animal sign is brave, courageous and rarely compromises.

These are the heroes you want by your side in the heat of the moment. They won’t back down and it won’t take a quarter. Others marvel at their inner strength. Where do they find the energy and the means to continue?

They thrive on challenge, which is what gives them resistance. They have an impeccable character and “honor” is their middle name. They have a strong will and sometimes adhere to the “lone wolf” label. However, you always know where you are with them and they will reach you as long as you share their cause.

Falco (November 25 – December 23):

We rarely see more concentration in the Celtic animal signs than in those of the hawk. When these signs see something they want, they pursue it with considerable force. If, however, they are not interested in a project, they will fly to other, more interesting perspectives. They care deeply about wisdom and often focus on sharing this knowledge with others.

They can be very philanthropic and generous. Hawks have a keen sense of balance and navigate through life with an internal “true north” that creates a strange integrity in them.

I am open-minded and philosophical. Although they have all kinds of assumptions, they are strongly opinionated (that inner thing of “true north”). This is not to say they cannot be convinced.
